In a special context, special measures are needed in order to support the business environment. We are announcing the adoption of a new government program regarding non-reimbursable financial support for tourism, catering and event organization enterprises, whose activity has been affected in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, you will be able to access the necessary funds for working capital needs in order to support your business.
Total allocated funds: 500 million EUR
All grants will be distributed through the partner banks
The evaluation will be done taking into consideration the unique identification number on the dedicated portal
The amount and the beneficiaries of grants
- Value of funds: 500 million EUR
- Grant: maximum 20% of the calculation base, being calculated as the difference between the 2019 turnover/income and 2020 turnover/income, from the eligible activities, but no more than 800,000 euros per beneficiary;
- Beneficiaries: legal entities tourism, catering and event organization enterprises, having one of the eligible NACE codes: 7911, 7912, 7990, 5510, 5520, 5530, 5590, 5610, 5621, 5629, 5630, 8230, enterprises that are registered for fiscal purpose on the Romanian territory.
- Other benefits: zero commissions on incomings / payments in RON for inter / intra-banking transactions, except the Transfond/ BNR fee, for the grant account.
How can you access European non-reimbursable funds?
- Apply for the grant, by uploading all the necessary documents in order to access the funds, on https://granturi.imm.gov.ro/auth/login and follow all the necessary steps for the registration;
- Choose OTP Bank as your partner bank in this program;
- The Ministry analyzes the applications and approves the eligible ones;
- Open a dedicated current account at OTP Bank Romania;
- Sign the grant contract and we will send the funds into your company’s account.
Eligibility criteria
- The list of the eligible activity fields, as well as the criteria that have to be fulfilled by your company are found in the specific legislation (Government Emergency Ordinance no. 224/2020, with subsequent amendments);
- The beneficiaries have the possibility to request financing from the partner Bank, in which case the specific eligibility criteria should also be met.
