Bucharest, October 4, 2023 - Following research on the pollution sources of the Danube in the Jiu River area, OTP Bank Romania has launched the campaign "Vrem o Dunăre fără plastic” („We want a Danube without plastic”), with the aim of raising awareness about water pollution. The campaign is part of the environmental program developed last year together with Asociația Ape Fără Plastic (the Plastic Free Water Association), through which more than 700 kilograms of waste were collected by OTP Bank volunteers, during greening actions on the Jiu River.

Bucharest, September 8, 2023 – OTP Bank Romania obtained, in court, the suspension of the order of the ANPC President issued in May this year, regarding the calculation method for loan repayment instalments. Therefore, the measures issued by ANPC for the bank are suspended until the final resolution of the legal action to cancel the order.

Bucharest, September 7th, 2023 - OTP Bank, in partnership with Aura Ion Association and OTP Bank Romania Foundation, carried out a volunteering initiative on Friday, September 1st, at the General School in Stejaru Village, Teleorman. This initiative is part of an extensive campaign to enhance rural schools, with the aim of providing students with an optimal environment for educational development. Over 500 children, including preschoolers, primary and middle school students, as well as children with special educational needs, benefit from these resources.

Bucharest, September 6, 2023: OTP Bank Romania has made significant progress in the process of transforming its organizational culture, setting a new local banking industry standard, according to the Cultural Diagnosis study carried out by the organizational consulting company Human Synergistics Romania.
