Please be informed that, as of 29 December 2020, OTP Bank had to reactivate all the garnishments issued by the fiscal creditors as a result of the expiry of their suspension period.
The previous decision to suspend the garnishments was taken on the basis of Government Emergency Ordinance (G.E.O) No. 29/2020, and the extension of the suspension period occurred in accordance with G.E.O. No. 48/2020 and G.E.O. No. 99/2020.
If the deadline will be extended, OTP Bank will proceed accordingly, in accordance with the legal provisions that will be adopted.
