Bucharest, September 8, 2023 – OTP Bank Romania obtained, in court, the suspension of the order of the ANPC President issued in May this year, regarding the calculation method for loan repayment instalments. Therefore, the measures issued by ANPC for the bank are suspended until the final resolution of the legal action to cancel the order.

We reiterate the fact that OTP Bank Romania stands by its customers rights to choose the method for contracting and repaying a loan, in equal instalments or decreasing instalments, according to their requirements and needs. Thus, customers can choose the desired option from the moment of contracting the loans, as well as during the entire repayment period, in compliance with the legal norms and the level of indebtedness.
