Bucharest, 15th November 2022 – OTP Bank Romania launches the Black Friday 2022 campaign for individuals and entrepreneurs. This year, the offer for individuals proposes an attractive interest rate on deposits for a limited number of customers who open an account at OTP Bank. Entrepreneurs benefit from zero costs for the entire validity period of the contracts signed within the campaign.

In the current economic context, it is important to have predictability regarding costs, and through these packages we offer customers efficient tools, with zero costs, that fulfil exactly this objective" said Roxana Hidan, Deputy CEO, Business Division OTP Bank Romania.
Offer for individuals
For the first time, this year, a limited number of individuals that become the bank's clients during the campaign period can benefit from an attractive annual interest rate of 9.75% for deposits with a term of 3 or 6 months. 500 places are available in the promotion.
The "Deposit with 9.75% interest on Black Friday" campaign may be accessed on the dedicated page on the website www.otpbank.ro, followed by filling out the form and selecting the desired branch.
The campaign takes place between 11.11-30.12.2022, in two stages:
- Between November 11-13, customers must apply on the bank's website.
- Between November 15 and December 30, 2022, the first 500 eligible customers can open a current account at OTP Bank and make deposits worth a maximum of 200,000 lei to benefit from the 9.75% interest rate offered in the campaign.
Deposits features offered in the campaign:
- Annual interest of 9.75%.
- Deposit term of 3 or 6 months.
- Automatic extension (starting with the second maturity, the deposit will have the existing annual interest rate in the bank's offer at the time of extension).
- Zero opening, liquidation and cash withdrawal fees*.
*Only in the case of cash withdrawals from term deposits, on their due date.
Customers who are at least 18 years old, are Romanian citizens or residents with an assigned CNP, become customers of the bank and make deposits between November 15 and December 30, 2022, can benefit from the offer.

Offers for companies
The "Zero Friday for Entrepreneurs" campaign with zero lifetime costs is addressed to all legal entities, regardless of their annual turnover or form of organization.
Entrepreneurs can benefit from the Black Friday offer exclusively online or by accessing the dedicated page, www.otpbank.ro, filling out the form and selecting the desired branch.
To take advantage of the offer, clients must apply between 11th – 25th of November and become a new client of the bank within a maximum of 60 days after the date of submitting all necessary documents.
New clients will benefit of:
- Free current account, no matter how many accounts, regardless of currency.
- Unlimited number of interbank payments of small value in lei, free of charge, made through Internet Banking and SmartBank;
- Free Internet Banking subscription for one user.
- Visa Business debit card in lei, free for issuance and administration.
- 1 POS/E-Commerce/Soft POS terminal, for which a commission of only 0.70% is applied when processing transactions through POS/E-Commerce/Soft POS, regardless of turnover.
Clients, legal entities, that wish to access the Zero Friday campaign offer can apply online here until 25th of November, according to the conditions presented in the Campaign Regulations.
