Between October 5th and November 30st, update your personal data and attend to drawing lots for winning one of the 15 eMAG vouchers worth 250 lei.

According to the law, the update personal data process or personal data confirmation is a mandatory process and periodically you have to update or reconfirm your personal data to be able to benefit further, without restrictions, of all the OTP Bank services. 
You have three options to update or confirm your data: 

  1. By submitting this form for individuals completed together with a copy of the BI / CI, which will be mentioned as being "According to the original", both signed by you at the e-mail address actualizaredate@otpbank.ro. The form will be sent to the Bank from your personal email address (forms sent from e-mail addresses that belong to other persons, including the Employer's, will not be taken into consideration);
  2. In any branch of OTP Bank Romania (to minimize time spent at the counter you can bring the completed and signed form together with a copy of the BI / CI);
  3. By submitting the form for individuals available in OTPdirekt - Internet Banking (desktop version);

Why it’s important to update your personal data?


First of all, we want to know each other as well as possible so that we can communicate relevant information to each other about our ongoing contracts.

Secondly, for your safety and protection of your money. We protect your data 24/24 and if we detect something unusual at your account activity, we contact you right away. In such an unwanted scenario we need your telephone number.

And last but not least, data update is a legal requirement, a mandatory process (you can read the BNR Regulation nr. 2/2019 and the law 129/2019).
 

Why please do not ignore this notification?

Through your personal data update, you avoid having your access blocked to your accounts opened at OTP Bank Romania. 
If you don’t update your personal data until the announced date, you will not have access anymore to your account transactions (for example: payment orders will not be accepted and processed, card payments and Internet Banking transactions will not work anymore etc.). The good news is that after you update your data you will be able to instruct all types of operations again, without any restriction.
