Acquiring Cards.
Due to our membership with Visa Europe and MasterCard International, we are able to offer you a modern banking service, facility that allows you to accept for payment cards issued by Romanian and foreign credit institutions under the following logos: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro.
Using our latest generation of POS terminals, your transactions will be non-stop authorized by the international cards payment system, according to Safe CHIP standards of Visa and MasterCard. The cards transactions made by your employees must be sending to OTP Bank Romania for clearing and settlement with issuing institutions of cards of your customers.

In order to receive the benefits mentioned above, a standard cards processing contract have to establish the business relationship between your company and our bank.
For the authorization, clearing and settlement of your card transactions, OTP Bank Romania will charge a POS processing commission: 2% of transaction value. The commission may be negotiated according to the transaction volume operated through our bank and the package of products and services from OTP Bank România.
