At purchasing units in any of the common open-end investment funds distributed by OTP Bank Romania, you can open deposits with promotional interest rates in RON or EUR, without a fixed period of subscription and redemption.

OTP Sincron is a savings and investment product that offers multiple possibilities of combining term savings for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 months, both in RON and EUR with investment in any of the three open end investment funds, OTP AvantisRO, OTP Obligaţiuni, OTP ComodisRO, distributed by the Bank.

This savings and investments product consist in:

• RON or EUR term deposit with promotional interest rate, with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 months maturity;
• funds units of any of the open-end funds OTP AvantisRO, OTP Obligaţiuni, OTP ComodisRO, for an amount at least equal with the promotional term deposit amount.

CHARACTERISTICS of term deposit with promotional interest rate:

• can be formed in RON and EUR;
• you can choose the maturity period: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 months;
• the minimum amount necessary for opening a promotional term deposit is 100 for RON deposits, or 100 for EURO term deposits;
• at maturity, the deposit amount and the appropriate interest will be transferred in your current account from OTP Bank;
• in case of withdrawal before maturity, the interest rate applied for the deposit will be equal to the interest rate granted for the current account;
• the RON and EUR promotional deposits' amounts cannot exceed at the forming day the value of the owned fund units*;
• the minimum amount invested in fund units** is 3500 RON until the maturity of the promotional term deposits.

* equivalence in RON will be made at NBR exchange rate valid in the term deposit constitution day
** the portfolio value is calculated based on the net asset value per fund unit (VUAN) registered at December 30th, 2010.
