1. The operator is MONEYGRAM PAYMENT SYSTEMS, Inc., with headquarters in 1550 Utica Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55416 SUA; the representative of the operator is OTP BANK ROMANIA SA, with headquarters in str. Buzesti nr 66-68, 1st sector, Bucharest, registered at the Commerce Registry with the nr J40/10295/1996, CUI 7926069, registered at the Romanian Bank Registry with the nr RB-PJR-40-028/1999;

2. The person transferring or receiving money has the right to data access, the right to intervention on data and the right to oppose, as stipulated by the Law 677/2001 art. 13-15 for the protection of persons, regarding personal data processing and data usage.

a) The right to data access consist in the possibility of the client (as stipulated by Law nr. 677/2001) to obtain from the representative, on request and freely, one demand per year, the confirmation that the data regarding him/her are or aren’t being processed. In order to exercise the right to data access, the client (as stipulated by Law nr. 677/2001) can solicit from the representative, by a written request, dated and signed, the information previously mentioned.

b) The right to intervention on data consists of the possibility that the client has to obtain from the representative, on request and freely:

  • depending on the situation, the rectification, the actualization, the blocking or the deletion of the data who’s processing is not in accordance with the present law, specially incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • depending on the situation, the transformation into anonymous data of those who’s processing is not in accordance with the present law;
  • notification to the third parties to whom where presented the data of any operation as stipulated in b1) and b2), if this notification is not impossible and does not assume a disproportionate effort to the legitimate interest. In order to exercise the right to data intervention, the Client (as stipulated by Law nr. 677/2001) will forward to the representative a written request, signed and dated.

c) The right to oppose consist in the possibility that the Client has (as stipulated by Law nr. 677/2001) to oppose, any moment, by legitimate and fair reasons, related to his particular situation, as data proposed for processing, except cases where there is a contrary legal stipulation. The right to oppose can be exercise by a written request, dated and signed, addressed by the Client (as stipulated by Law nr. 677/2001) to the representative.

3. The Client has the right not to be subdued to an individual decision and the right to address to law, rights that are regulated by Law 677/2001, art 17-18 for people protection regarding personal data processing and data usage.
